KERRVILLE – On a day plagued with weather delays, the East Texas A&M University men's golf through a handful of holes of the first round of the Southland Conference Championships before more wet weather wiped out the rest of Monday's action at the Comanche Trace Golf Club.
The start of the day was delayed due to inclement weather, and then play was called in the afternoon. East Texas A&M, who was in the lead group, has most of its team on the back-nine.
The rest of the first round will be completed on Tuesday morning starting at 10 am, with the second round following later in the afternoon. Live scoring can be tracked

When play was called for the day, UIW has a seven-stroke lead over New Orleans, being nine-under par. The Lions are in seventh with a team score of five-over par.
For the five Lions on the course,
Nicke Kaajavirta (Kajaani, Finland) got through 13 holes and is in 40
th place, shooting seven-over.
Janis Erll (Lich, Germany) is two-over par through 11 holes to tie for 26
th place.
Matt Walters (Ballito, South Africa) is in 35
th place through 10 holes, having shot four-over par.
Cooper Watt (Rockford, Ill.) is three-under par through 10 holes, sitting in second place.
Davis Seybert (Trinity Midland) is also tied for 26
th place, having shot two-under par through eight holes.
