Five Lions named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five East Texas A&M University men's basketball players have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for the 2024-25 season.
 
The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
 
The Lions recorded a term grade point average of 3.09 during the Spring 2025 semester, with 11 players posting a term GPA of 3.00 or better and being named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll as well.
 
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball. The full list of honorees across all levels of men's college basketball can be found HERE.
