The East Texas A&M University men's basketball team is taking on Tarleton at 2 p.m. in an exhibition game on October 18, and admission is free for all fans, but they must claim a free ticket.

The exhibition contest in the Field House also serves as the official tip-off event for the 2026-27 season on the Hunt Regional Healthcare, with both teams showcased through the afternoon.

From pre-game festivities to post-game meet-and-greets, here is everything lined up for game day:

• Pre-Game Campus Tailgate: Kick off the afternoon early at the campus tailgate hosted by SAAC!
• Tip-Off at 2:00 PM: Cheer on your Lions as they take on Tarleton.
• Post-Game Social: Stick around after the final buzzer for a special student-athlete social. Your chance to meet the 2026–2027 Lion Basketball teams!
