2013 (Freshman): All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention … totaled 155 rushes for 665 yards and three touchdowns on the year … also caught 16 passes for 141 yards and a score … finished with 865 all-purpose yards … led team, ranked eighth in LSC in rush yards per game (60.2) … rushed for season-high 141 yards on 17 carries, also catching three passes for 40 yards in win over McMurry (10/19/13) … carried ball a season-high 24 times for 80 yards in win at A&M-Kingsville (10/12/13) … hauled in 16-yard touchdown reception at West Texas A&M (9/21/13) … rushed six times for 33 yards and a score in season-opening win over Sul Ross State (9/7/13) … picked up 78 rushing yards and a TD against Midwestern State (9/28/13) … gained 57 yards on the ground with a TD in win over Southeastern Oklahoma (10/5/13).

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Three year letterwinner at Center High School … Helped lead the Roughriders to the District 20-3A championship as a senior … Rushed for 2,687 yards on 378 carries with 30 touchdowns during his prep career while also pulling in 30 catches for 302 yards and four touchdowns … First team all-state selection … District 20-3A Offensive MVP … Earned first team all-district honors as both a running back and defensive back … Coached by Kevin Goodwin … Also lettered four times in track and field and three times in powerlifting … Regional track qualifier in the sprints … A/B Honor Roll selection.
