Prior toA&M-Commerce: As a sophomore at Blinn, last year, heaveraged 9.5 points, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals acontest...finished second in the conference in 3-point field goalpercentage at a 45.6% clip...prior to attending Blinn, he went tothe University of South Alabama as a freshman...saw action in sixgames and averaged 4.8 minutes a contest as the Jaguars’advanced to the NCAA Tournament...attended H. Grady Spruce HighSchool in Dallas, where he played for former Lion Lyndon Love andaveraged 20 points, four rebounds, six assists and three stealsduring his senior year...a McDonald’s All-American nominee asa senior...earned all-state honors as a junior. 

Personal: BornSeptember 26, 1988...son of Donnell and Kimberly Hayden... father,Donnell played at the University of North Texas and his sister is afreshman at Baylor University.
