2008-09: Alongwith teammate DeUndrae Spraggins were the only two players to playand start in all 28 games...averaged a team-best 32.8 minutes acontest...led the team with 114 assists...one of three Lions toaverage in double figures (11.2)...started the season withseven-straight games in double figures, including a season-high 22against Tarleton (Nov. 25, 2008)...recorded double doubles againstTarleton (22 pts., 10 reb.) and Abilene Christian (13 pts., 10 reb.on Jan. 3, 2009)...scored 20 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from thefield in the win over Central Oklahoma (Feb. 25, 2009)...dished outa season-high 10 assists in the victory over Cameron (Jan. 24,2009)...scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds againstSouthwestern Oklahoma State (Feb. 7, 2009)...named Lone StarConference North Division Player of the Week on December 1 andMarch 2. 

Prior toA&M-Commerce: Spent two years with the University ofTexas-Arlington, which advanced to the NCAA Tournament in2007-08...after redshirting as a freshman with the Mavericks, hesaw action in 62 games over the last two seasons and averaged 4.0points, 2.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game...scored acareer-high 12 points against Texas-San Antonio (Jan. 23) and SamHouston State (Feb. 22)...dished out six assists on three differentoccasions and had five rebounds in two games as asophomore...during his redshirt freshman season, he was selected tothe Southland Conference All-Academic Honorable MentionTeam...first-team all-district, all-region and all-state as asenior at Dallas Carter High School...McDonald’s All-Americannominee...second-team all-district performer as a junior...memberof the A/B Honor Roll and inducted into the National Honor Societyand named to the Who’s Who Among American High SchoolStudents.
