Prior toA&M-Commerce: Prior to attending Clarendon JuniorCollege, he was a two-time district MVP, all-district andall-region standout at Avinger High School...earned all-staterecognition as a senior...led team to area title titles as a juniorand senior...a four-year letterwinner on the basketball and tennisteams and three times on the track and field team...holds schoolsingle-game scoring record with 62 points...won the state triplejump as a senior and finished second in the long jump as ajunior.
