COMMERCE – The Texas A&M University-Commerce track and field teams take part in the 95
th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos this weekend.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE LIONS
The Lions began the outdoor season two weeks ago at the UTSA Invitational. Five student-athletes finished second on a chilly day in San Antonio.
THE LION MEN
After one outdoor event,
Delan Edwin (Castries, Saint Lucia) ranks fifth in the Southland Conference in the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.94 seconds and
Cameron Macon (Dallas – Carter) is fifth in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.33 seconds.
Nicholas Deutsch (Frisco) and Chris Navarette (Laredo – Lyndon B. Johnson) are 2-3 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with times of 9:38.14 and 10:41.49, respectively.
In the field,
Trayveon Franklin (Montgomery) is fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 46 feet 8.75 inches (14.24m).
The qualifiers for the Texas Relays include
Emmanuel Agenor (Spanishtown, Jamaica) and
J.T. Smith (Klein Oak) in the 100 meter dash. Macon and
Jordan Johnson (Guateng, South Africa) in the 110 meter hurdles, Edwin in the 200 meter dash invitational, as well as the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay teams.
THE LION WOMEN
Maia Maury (Noisy-Le-Grand, France) with a time of 1:03.92 seconds is fourth in the 400 meter hurdles.
Veronika Kramarenko (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine) leads the conference with a clearance mark of 5 feet 7.75 inches (1.72m) in the high jump. Maury is fifth at 5 feet 3.75 inches (1.62m) and
Jenneil Jacobie (Piat Gros Islet, Saint Lucia) is seventh with a mark of 4 feet 11.75 inches (1.52m).
Amaka Ezukanma (Fort Worth – Timber Creek) ranks eighth with a mark of 37 feet 11.5 inches (11.57m) in the triple jump.
Tamara Susa (Novi Sad, Serbia) is second in the javelin with a mark of 149 feet 5 inches (45.54m).
For the women, the qualifiers for the Texas Relays are
Sofia Khenfar (Lyon, France) and
Leah Pettis (McKinney North) in the 100 meter dash, Maury and
Naomi Ndukwe (Perserville, France) in the 400 meter hurdles, and Susa in the javelin. Both the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay teams also qualified.
