AUSTIN and SAN MARCOS – A school record for the Texas A&M University-Commerce track & field team inside Mike A. Myers at the Texas Relays on Saturday morning, while the day closed out with the conclusion of the Bobcat Invitational at the Texas State Track & Field Complex.

TEXAS INVITATIONAL – RESULTS
Oguz Uyar (Turkey),
Enoch Fosuhene (Accra, Ghana),
Tyke Owens (Lebanon Trail), and
Ibrahim Fuseini (Accra, Ghana) teamed up to time 1:23.65 in the 4x200 meter relay for fourth place. That time is a new school record.
Cassandra Rendon (San Antonio – Madison) competed in the 'B' section of the women's discus and threw a personal-best of 162-1 (49.40m) for sixth.
BOBCAT INVITATIONAL - RESULTS
Both
Magdaline Campo (Haiti) and
Jenneil Jacobie (Piat Gros Islet, Saint Lucia) cleared 5-7.25 (1.71m) in the high jump, to tie for second with four other jumpers. The mark for both Lions is top 45 in the country this year and for Campo, a new personal-best.
Fosuhene made the trip over to San Marcos and ran a time of 10.40 seconds for seventh place in the 100 meter dash, placing him 60
th in the country.
The 4x400 meter relay squad of
Eddie Barrientes (Chisholm Trail),
Ziphion Reevey (Ocean Township, N.J.), Fosuhene, and Uyar clocked in a season-best time of 3:12.86 for second place, which is also 55
th in the country.
