Top Moment No. 5: Football Records Fall
The 2013-14 A&M-Commerce athletic season was filled with a handful of incredible moments, achievements and career milestones. Throughout the summer Lion Athletics will take a look back at the top 15 moments of the year, voted on by athletic administrators and local media members.

It's well-known that the Lion football team experienced a resurgence under first-year head coach Colby Carthel in 2013, but in addition to the won-loss record, the Lions also re-wrote its own record books as a team and individually.

Those records included Tevin Moore becoming the program's career leader in sacks, Deric Davis' five-touchdown game vs McMurry and Vernon Johnson putting together the most prolific season by a wide receiver in the history of Lion football.
