Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended Ranger Junior College along with Texas A&M-Kingsville's Roderick Mosley...at Ranger JC, he started as a sophomore and was a two-year starter at Carter High School in Dallas...a three-year letterwinner in football and track and field at Carter...in football, as a senior, they won the a District 11-5A title and in track and field, he ran on the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.
