East Texas A&M University Athletics

2006: Played in all 10 games...recorded a season-high 10 tackles against West Texas A&M (Sept. 16)...had a season-high 1 ½ sacks for a loss of nine yards at Angelo State (Oct. 21)...finished sixth on the team with 46 tackles and helped lead the defense to a No. 1 total defense ranking in the Lone Star Conference.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Played at San Bernardino Valley College...selected First Team All-Foothill Conference and earned team defensive MVP honors as a sophomore, where he led the team with 130 tackles and also made four interceptions...against Grossmont (Oct. 1), last year, he made 14 tackles, including two sacks and two quarterback hurries in a 20-17 defeat...selected as the Foothill Conference Player of the Week (Oct. 16) after a 13 tackle (five solos, eight assists), an interception and a sack as a freshman...also earned honorable mention all-conference honors in his initial season.

Personal: Born October 10, 1984 in the Tonga Islands...son of Samuela and Akesa Fifita...a criminal justice major.
