Starting his ET career as walk-on, Hooker quickly made his mark as a redshirt freshman as he led the team in interceptions and helped the Lions go from 2-9 to a record of 8-3. He was a two-time team captain, voted on by his peers, while also being named to the all-conference team twice. Hooker delivered the game-winning play to end Pittsburg State’s 56-game winning streak and currently ranks 10th all-time in program history in interceptions and 40th all-time in total tackles.
